Kmax is a complete environment for data acquisition and instrument control with advanced features for data management, visualization, and reporting. Kmax is a self-consistent, fully integrated application, inter-operating with native OS’s and other compatible application programs. Kmax is compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X computers. Kmax supports single- and dual-parameter data displays, provides a variety of formatting options and allows the user to configure control panels directly on the computer. With its 3D-view support, ability to import and export data, and high-level support for the CAMAC, VME, GPIB and VXI instrumentation, Kmax is well suited for scientific and engineering computations and data analysis. The core environment may be expanded by adding user defined controls, external commands and external functions, or it may be extended to custom hardware environments by installing user-defined Module Description Resources and low-level drivers.Kmax Version 11.21 (Not yet Available)

Kmax Version 11.17
Kmax version 11.17 is the latest release of the Kmax family of data acquisition and data analysis application software. It updates the Kmax environment to be compatible with the latest releases of the Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems. Kmax 11.17 comes with the Java JDK, JavaFX SDK already installed as a part of the app package. Kmax 11.17 requires Mac OS X 10.15 or above; Windows 10 or above; Linux Fedora 35 or above (other Linux flavors may also work). Kmax 11.17 requires 64-bit operating system. To install Kmax version 11.17, download the Kmax-Stuff archive and then download the platform-specific App archive for the platform architecture on which you intend to install the Kmax App. Follow the installation instructions in the Read-Me file.

Kmax 11.4 is a legacy release of the Kmax data acquisition and data analysis application software. Version 11.4 requires JDK version 15 and JavaFX version 15. JDK version 15 introduces a new class version (59), so Kmax external classes and drivers that were compiled with java class versions earlier than 59 must be recompiled with JDK version 15.0.1 or later in order to be compatible with Kmax version 11.4.
Kmax 11.4 requires : Java JDK version 15, or above; JavaFX version 15, or above; Mac OS X 10.15 or above; Windows 10 or above; Linux Fedora 33 or above (other Linux flavors may also work). Operating systems must be 64-bit. To install Kmax version 11.4, download the Kmax-Stuff archive and follow the installation instructions in the Read-Me file.
KmaxVersion 10.2
Kmax 10.2 is a legacy release of the Kmax data acquisition and data analysis application software. Version 10.2 requires JDK version 8 and JavaFX version 8. JDK version 8 introduces a new class version (52), so Kmax external classes and drivers that were compiled with java class versions earlier than 52 must be recompiled with JDK version 8 or later in order to be compatible with Kmax version 10.2.
